CrossFit Gym Training

CrossFit PHL is a 3000 square foot premier strength and conditioning facility in the Italian Market neighborhood of South Philadelphia. Rocky ran these streets; his route took him past our doors and like him, we are fierce, determined, and unwavering in our commitment to excellence. We offer a full schedule of CrossFit and Olympic Weightlifting classes for everyone, from the beginner to the high school, collegiate and national-level competitive athlete.


Our Mission:

Our mission consists of three principles:

A commitment to performance. Whether you’re just getting started or looking for the push to get you to that next level, we are committed to enabling you to achieve your goals. It doesn’t matter if you’re chasing that first pull-up or a 400lb deadlift, we scale our workouts to all fitness levels and our programming consists of a variety of functional movements designed to make you faster, stronger, more flexible and better conditioned.

Trainers lifting weightsA foundation of safety. All of our coaches are CrossFit certified and have a minimum of two years of training and coaching experience. Our workouts strive to teach correct movement that develops strength and conditioning while preventing injury. Members and potential members with pre-existing conditions or prior injuries will receive a full assessment and programming designed to get them stronger while helping them return to full activity.

A development of community. When you train at CrossFit PHL, it won’t just be you, sweating and working alone in a gym, but you, making progress alongside dozens of other like-minded athletes and fitness enthusiasts, all striving toward the same common goal. Our members train together, they play together, they grow together, and support one another toward achieving success in fitness and in life.


What is Crossfit?

CrossFit is a strength and conditioning program designed to improve strength, endurance, flexibility and explosiveness through a combination of rowing, running, bodyweight exercises, gymnastics, kettlebells and weight training. The workouts are constantly varied series of functional movements, performed at a high intensity. Many police and firefighter companies and academies, tactical operations and military units and martial artists employ crossfit to develop the fitness needed in their fields. The Crossfit program scales the load and intensity of workouts depending on ability, experience, age and fitness goals, but all athletes do the same program with the same goal of achieving top-level fitness.
